Cornell's Cooperative Extension offices and Community and Rural Development Institute team helps counties in northern NY increase direct-to-consumer agricultural sales through regional programs, farmers markets, local promotion and direct wholesaling to restaurants, resorts and colleges. Adirondack Harvest, one such program, has seen an average increase in gross sales of 16 percent compared with past years.
